“Mae Lui School, located in Sop Moei District, Mae Hong Son Province, in the northernmost part of Thailand, is in a remote area far from the city and has no access to the national power grid. The school relies on a solar power system that is more than ten years old and no longer functional. Nearly two hundred students and teachers study and work at the school, and almost half of them must live on campus under difficult conditions.
In the first phase, the main system has already been repaired and is now operational. The only remaining requirement is lithium batteries to store electricity for use at night.”
